My Story
My name is Monika, and I design interiors because I believe that the spaces we live in have the power to support us, calm us, and inspire us every day. Creativity has been part of my life for as long as I can remember — from making handcrafted jewelry and sewing to restoring old armchairs and transforming them according to my own vision. Over time, I realized that what captivates me most is the harmony between individual elements and the way an ordinary room can be shaped into a space with its own atmosphere and energy.
This passion led me to study interior design at the Academy of Creativity and Design under Slávka Ramsová, where I built strong foundations and learned how to translate ideas into realistic 3D and photorealistic visualizations. Being able to show clients their future home before it comes to life is one of the most rewarding aspects of my work.
Today, I work on a wide range of interior projects — from subtle updates to full-scale renovations. One project I especially enjoyed was the complete transformation of a two-bedroom apartment, where we reimagined both the layout and the overall mood of the space. I love finding solutions that balance functionality and aesthetics while feeling natural and intuitive for the people who live there.
Before fully dedicating myself to interior design, I spent many years working in international companies in analytical and project-based roles. This experience taught me patience, structure, and the understanding that thoughtful design is never accidental — it emerges through dialogue, careful planning, and a deep understanding of people’s needs and stories.
Languages are another passion of mine. I studied Spanish and Russian, speak English fluently, and am currently learning French. This allows me to view design through different cultural perspectives and collaborate comfortably with clients from around the world.
In my work, I focus on comfort, authenticity, functionality, and timeless design. My goal is to create spaces where people truly feel at home — not because they are perfect, but because they reflect who they are and were created with care and understanding.
